Classic elegance — stone-coated steel roof tile

QUEENTILE CLASSIC stone-coated steel roof tile panel
Black — natural basalt stone finishPre-order

The classic architectural style of Old Europe has stood the test of time. QUEENTILE CLASSIC brings the elegance of the Golden Age to a modern lightweight roof, with the ideal forms and proportions of traditional European tile — pressed from Aluzinc-coated steel and finished in natural basalt stone.

From the curb it reads as classic clay tile. On the structure it behaves like modern engineering: under 1.4 lb per square foot, wind-rated to 155 mph, Class A non-combustible, and warranted for 50 years against corrosion and fading.

Timeless profile, modern performance

CLASSIC is the profile most people picture when they think of a European tiled roof: a rhythmic barrel wave with strong shadow lines that give a facade depth and permanence. Because each panel covers 4 square feet in a single press-formed sheet, the roof goes on faster than individual clay tiles, installs in a staggered checkerboard pattern with minimal waste, and will not crack in transport or under foot traffic the way ceramic can.

Every CLASSIC panel is built from eight bonded layers: a 0.45 mm South Korean steel core protected on both sides by aluminum-zinc coating and acrylic primers, dressed with natural basalt granules locked in a patented acrylic adhesive and sealed under a clear acrylic glaze. The result is a roof that keeps clay-tile looks through hurricanes, hail, salt air, and decades of sun.

The material

Eight layers of stone-coated steel

Every Classic panel shares the QUEENTILE composite build: Aluzinc-coated steel dressed in natural basalt, bonded and sealed in acrylic. Independently climate-tested with BASF (Germany).

Classic — common questions

How many QUEENTILE Classic panels do I need per roofing square?

One roofing square (100 sq ft) takes approximately 25 Classic panels. Each panel measures 16.14″ × 44.88″ and covers 4.00 sq ft installed. Request a free estimate and we will calculate the exact quantity, accessories included, from your roof plan.

What colors does QUEENTILE Classic come in?

Classic is produced in six standard colors: Black, Coffee, Green, Grey, Terra-cotta, and Blue. Every color is natural basalt stone — not paint — so it will not fade or peel. In the US, Classic is available by pre-order in any of the six colors.

How long will a QUEENTILE stone-coated steel roof last?

QUEENTILE tiles carry a 50-year legal warranty that covers both corrosion and aesthetic performance. The Aluzinc-coated steel core is up to six times more rust-resistant than conventional galvanized steel, and the acrylic-sealed basalt surface resists UV fading, granule loss, and moss growth for the life of the roof.

Is stone-coated steel roofing noisy in the rain?

No. The layer of natural basalt granules absorbs the impact of rain and hail, so a QUEENTILE roof is dramatically quieter than bare metal roofing — comparable to asphalt shingle or clay tile.
