Shake Black in Florida

This residential project features QUEENTILE Shake in Black, giving the house the texture of hand-split cedar in a dark, contemporary finish — wood character without wood on the roof.

The Shake profile carries a randomized split-grain relief across each panel, so the roof reads as a laid wood shake from the street and from the air. In Black, that texture sits as a strong, clean cap against the walls and landscape, with the drone footage showing how the pattern holds across hips, valleys, and the long field.

Made from durable stone-coated steel, Shake is TAS 125 tested for Florida roof-system performance and built to hold its character through heat, wind, and salt air.
